Products that bear the USDA Organic seal are certified organic under the most rigorous standards in the world, making them the best of the best. That’s because when it comes to organic certification, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) sets the standard for the world.

Before products are labeled organic, the USDA requires organic operations to demonstrate “that they are protecting natural resources, conserving biodiversity, and using only approved substances.” USDA regulations also require products to be verified by a USDA-accredited, certifying agent. The USDA is so strict in its certification process that it has authorized an international standard.

Canada, the EU, Japan, the Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Israel and Switzerland have established organic trade arrangements with the United States – and so has Wellisen. Firmly committed to the highest of organic principles, practices and procedures, Wellisen’s operations in Mysore, India are USDA organic certified – separating Wellisen from a wave of products and producers throughout Asia that are labeled organic but are neither USDA organic or compliant.

Wellisen is proud to produce under the strictest of controls, with no herbicides, pesticides, or any runoff contamination in order to advance health and wellness across the globe.
